STEFF MAHAN’S Highly Anticipated CD

Will Resonate the Soul

Nashville, TN – July 2019, New Record Label, “Equalizer LLC.”, a non-profit label whose mission is to help independent artists get their music out there without the usual politics, produced Steff Mahan’s 5th CD titled “Enough”.  It has the timeless vibe of today’s growing Americana and Roots genres, with a bit Southern Rock, Country, and Folk. If you’ve ever fallen in love or lost love, then you will feel as though she wrote each of these songs just for you. Her lyrics describe real life. She’s able to say what many are feeling.  Many of her fans tell her “You just get it, good or bad. Thank you for writing that song.”

It’s clear from the musicians that made up her band, for the CD Release Party on June 29th, 2019 at The Local, Nashville, TN, believe this CD is going to be a chart climbing winner.  Her drummer, Tommy Harden, a Yamaha Artist who has played with just about every major country artist in Nashville. The Gatlin Bros., Ricky Skaggs, Alan Jackson, Jessica Simpson and has been Reba McEntire’s drummer since 1977.  He also fronts his own band Lost Hollow with his wife Lorrie. On Bass, Matthew Harper, who has performed with Steff many times and keeps coming back!  And Lead Guitar, the amazing Ellen Angelico, Nashville Scene calls “ace of all things stringed” and has been recorded on many records.  On Keys, Alex Devor has played with Shelly Fairchild and is a highly sought-after Local Studio Player.  Anje Dowler completed the acoustic sounds alongside of Steff.  And finally, the sweet sounds of sisters Leah and Jocelyn Taylor for the Background Vocals.  They just recently released an album with their third sister Marna titled “Daughters of Justice”.

Many followers have been asking for a new album as it has been nearly 5 years since the last release of an album.  Steff wanted to make sure that her next album was exactly how and what she knew her fans wanted to hear.  Her CD Release Party sold out of VIP tickets within a day of going on sale and the General tickets sold out shortly thereafter. The Local had to open the outside patio for the extra fans who showed hoping to get in.  Eddie Owen, owner of the famous Red Clay Music Foundry in Duluth, Georgia has said “Steff is welcome to play at Red Clay anytime” Her last show there was a sold-out show.
